Laura Wright and Alexandra started the amazing novella series that is Bayou Heat about a wonderful race of Pantera warriors who live out their lives in the bayou. Each book has two novellas, one written by Wright and the other by Ivy. Each focuses on one Pantera man and the woman/Pantera he chooses to take as his mate. These men are hot-blooded, possessive, and amazingly sexy. It's impossible not to fall in love with each one as you read it.

I realized that this book released yesterday, but I am still waiting on it. I can't get it right now because a lack of funds - therefore, I am still waiting on it. I loved the first two books (the second more than the first), so I have full faith in Veronica Roth to deliver with this installment.

I have been with this series since book one, How to Marry a Millionaire Vampire. I found this series purely by accident when I was a teenager who wanted to read Paranormal Romance. My mom bought me the first one online, and I fell in love. This is my all time favorite series. Kerrelyn Sparks is able to keep the magic going despite being fifteen books in. I love every character,everyone's story, and getting to know characters I barely know even better. One of my favorite things are the titles. The recently released book fourteen in this series was titled, The Vampire with the Dragon Tattoo. She's just cheeky like that.

Reason for Waiting

I've been with Christene Feehan and her Carpathian characters from the first book, Dark Prince, so it makes sense that I have stuck around this far despite some saying that her quality has dropped (to which I disagree). Feehan has a wonderful talent for creating a mysterious world in which the Carpathians, vampires, and other supernatural beings interact with the outside world all to preserve the legendary Carpathians.

This book finally focuses on the characters of Skyler and Dimitri. I have been waiting for years for their story to come out. Like the other Carpathian males, Dimitri has troubles suppressing his desire to pick her up caveman-style and carry her away to the safety. Something about his dark, brooding nature just makes him a compelling character to want to get to know better.

I have a strong feeling that it's going to be great.
